Guilty plea in 2008 kill-for-hire of Troy couple

MONTAGUE — Edward Lee Higgins, a local businessman charged with sexually assaulting a former employee at her home in February was dishonorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force in the early 1990s and sentenced to a military prison for a felony sex crime, according to police and court records.
